Help Kids Get to Camp!

This Sunday we’ll have the opportunity to hear from our very own Noemi Tovar & Caleb Parker, both on staff with OC United. For those new to this incredible non-profit, OC United aims to “step into the gap for those who have experienced the breakdown of their most fundamental relationships by providing services and programs for individuals, families, and the community. This develops core protective systems which empowers individuals’ personal capabilities, interpersonal attachment & belonging, the development of spirituality / faith community, and culture.”

This summer, OC United’s teen program is planning to take their group of over 40 teens from 7th-12th grade to a 3 day camp at Hume SoCal! They’ll be crafting a camp experience for the teens they work with all year round, focused on using fun and play as a way to name their pain, resilience, and hope.

Church familia: we’d love to invite our community to help sponsor the cost for teens to go to this camp, which will cost $135 per student. If you’re feeling led to give generously, joyfully, and sacrificially, you can use the link here to donate directly to the camp fund. Our church has allocated $2,000 from our Community Partnerships fund that comes from your tithes/offerings to support this endeavor. If you have questions or want to know more, please feel free to connect with Caleb in person on a Sunday or you can email him here.
