My name is Michael Shetler. I’m an MDiv student at Fuller Theological Seminary in my final year of education. I’m also a pastor’s kid originally from Northern Indiana who has grown up primarily in an Anabaptist mega-church tradition.

What excites me about an internship at the Church We Hope For is its radical love for the marginalized and its commitment to God’s justice. These are vital Christian components that I lacked exposure to growing up. I feel strongly that the leaders and community at the Church We Hope For will stretch and enlighten me in all the best ways possible!

I look forward to not only learning from church leadership but also each and every one of the incredible people with unique stories we have in our church familia. I look forward to talking to more of you when the time is right! God bless!
