Last Sunday was e v e r y t h i n g !

We had our first house church gathering. An intimate space to draw together close friends and community partners who have been with us and for us in this blessed journey. Some are faithfully serving other churches, and we celebrate these gospel centered partnerships. Others are looking for a community to call their own. And so on Sunday, we all came together in Spirit-sent oneness.

We shared tables and ate black bean soup. We sang (and shouted just a bit). We sat under Pastora Inés’ first ever MLK Sunday sermon! And this sister brought it! We remembered through Holy Communion. We prayed in such a sweet spirit. We ate some more! 😉 We ministered to the kids and empowered them to ministry with us. We let them run and play and laugh as we talked and caught up (and laughed a little, too). And then we packed it all up and called it a night.

All of it, every single last thing, was a gift of grace.

Thank you, LORD. Our covenant keeping God. What a story you’re writing. What beauty to behold.
