We are so grateful to Pastoras @GailSongBantum and @RevDocBrenda and our familia at Quest Church (@seattlequest) in Seattle. You all are a grace from God.
Quest Church posted the following about the recent Zoom interview that serves to fill the gaps until we can all travel to Seattle to meet and update our Seattle familia in person:
Taking our “5 and 2,” Quest is honored to tangibly participate in God’s multiplying work through a new LA church plant, led by co-lead pastors, Pastora Inés Velásquez-McBryde and Pastor Bobby Harrison. We trust that the relational and financial seeds will birth dynamic fruit in their vision for a multiethnic, multicultural, justice-minded, reconciliation-pursuing, boundary-breaking, wholeness-seeking church within their community.
Due to COVID-19, we, unfortunately, had to cancel their trip to Seattle in March, where we hoped to formally introduce them to our Quest family. We plan to reschedule for a future visit, but in the meantime, we hope you’ll enjoy getting to know them and their why through this recent conversation they had with Pastor Gail Song Bantum and Dr. Brenda Salter McNeil.
Thank you, Quest, for your faithful and continued generosity, trusting that God can do more than we could ever ask or imagine! #5and2 #bearingwitness #multiplyingvision
